Then that afternoon we had Em's convocation (the large ceremony for everyone). We didn't take any pictures right after that because it was freezing and the wind was blowing like crazy! Here we are back at home. It is hard to dress my pregnant belly.
That night my parents took all of the adults to a fantastic dinner at Chef's Table. I always wanted to go there but never had. It was there that we met Max, the BF, for the first time. It was a great night and incredible food...and lots of it. Then we went back to the house for games and soon-to-be-married Tod and Betsy came as well.
Friday morning we went to the temple to do family sealings. Emily was nice enough to watch Ty for us. Then we were off to Em's graduation. Emily especially liked all of the speakers talking about juggling the demands of being a student and a mom at the same time. Ha! :) Here are some pictures taken after the ceremony.
Emily truly looks like a midget next to Max...but let's give her some credit...she is part-midget and he is part-giant.As you can see it was very sunny.
How cute are they?!
That night we had a Price gathering at our place for pizza and games. We love being with our cousins and aunts and uncles and wish we got to see them more. It was great to catch up a little! Here is our Ty that night.
Saturday morning we went up to campus for a little bit and explored. I wanted to see the new Hinckley Alumni Building, but it was closed...boo! We took a short drive through the beautiful canyon and then hurried home so Brandon could meet Tod and our cousin Mark for golf. Ty and I took a much needed nap! That afternoon we went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was absolutely beautiful! And it was still so cold so we could only imagine how much more beautful it would get in a few weeks.
Ty tried to steal any empty golf cart that we came upon. That boy loves cars! |
That night we got yummy PF Chang's takeout and then to top it all off huge shakes from the Malt Shop. Of course we stayed up way too late playing games...and then the next day we had to drive home. It was Easter Sunday and was spent entirely in the car. It was a great little trip and we are so proud of Emily and can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
P.S. Any of the good pictures were taken by my SIL Myhoa...thanks for sending them!
